Proof of concept for my feature-length screenplay titled Ta Fille, a coming-of-age story. 

 

Ta Fille follows Joie, a high schooler and first-generation American, as she visits her family's home country in Africa for the first time after receiving disciplinary action from her school.

This proof of concept features camcorder footage from 2004, 2024, and unknown years in between. All videos were taken in North Dakota, Burundi, and Rwanda, and feature footage of my mother, grandmother, and I over the span of 20 years.
